Checking 2nd time zone on GW-3000

I'm not a big G shock expert, but I admire the watches for their toughness and functionality. I'm thinking about adding one of the GW3000s to my collection because I like the look of them, but I'm curious on what you have to do to reference a 2nd timezone. I use GMT a lot at work, an I like being able to see two time zones relatively quickly. I looked a the GW-3000 manual, but without the watch in front of me it was a little tough to figure out. Thanks!

The sub dial at 3 o'clock on the dial indicates the time in 24 hour format of the city you select as your World Time City. In normal timekeeping mode, this means the main hands display your local time while the sub dial at 3 o'clock displays UTC/GMT at all times. This assumes that you have selected UTC/GMT as your World Time City.

If you want, you can easily switch the main and sub time displays so that the main hands display UTC while the sub dial displays your Home Time.

    HTH

ETA: And since there are never enough pictures in threads like this, here's a pic of a GW-3000:

Note that the main hands are displaying almost 9 AM and since I am in the GMT-7 time zone, the sub dial at 3 is displaying GMT time which is almost 16:00.

So, as you can see, with the GW-3000 you can see local time and GMT time at the same time all the time any time ...

Thanks! Perfect explanation. I've got a basic GW-500 in my collection right now, I want to add a GW-3000 and a Riseman to my stable in the near future. Now just to decide what to pull the trigger on first.

You're welcome. Glad you found the info helpful.

But shouldn't your dilemma be which GW-3000?
