    Cleaning your G

What is the main method you use to clean your G(s)? After a day of yard work with sunscreen and insect repellent on, I rinse the watch off under the tap in cold water. Sometimes use an old toothbrush for the hard to get places but not that often. Is there any better method?

Warm water, liquid hand soap applied with a softish nail brush. Rinse thoroughly and you're good to go.

Cold water, warm water. When I shower, I take it off after rinsing, so I don't get shampoo/soap on it, as I've heard it can mess with matte resin. I do this only with the Riseman. My 6900, I soap it up every time.

Wet Q-Tip or toothpick everynow and then to get out the grunge and white buildup in those little grooves on and around the band.

FYI, some members have reported damage to their resin from insect repellent.

    Shower.

My experience is that insect repellent and aerosol sun block can "stain" resin. Showering is fine.

I use an old battery powered toothbrush and some hand soap, that seems to work pretty good.
When was it ever a question of need?
