DO ALL DW 6600 FOX FIRES HAVE A "G" IN THE EL BACK LIGHT?

I purchased a DW6600 Fox Fire from ebay a while back and it turned out that the module was actually from a DW002 (thanks to some folks here who helped me figure that out). So I got another 1199 module which was made in Japan and replaced the DW002 module in my watch. The replacement module does not have the orange "G" in the background. I just want it to be as authentic as possible so I was just wondering do all Fox Fire DW6600s have the "G" in the background? I've read some threads and searched it on the internet but can't find out for sure. I'm sure someone here has the answer. Thanks in advance.

I don't have it with me. I actually have a few of DW6600s and two of them are Fox Fire. One has the G and the other is the one that I replaced the module in, so it does not have the G.

no they all do not have Gs in the background, some do, some don't, a variation of the model has a scorpion, and another variation was released with one letter of the alphabet and different models for all the letters or something like that, and I am sure there are more. I like the non-g and scorpion one better (the scorpion one is a different model # but the same thing)

Some basic DW-6600's have no G in the backlight, although originally they all had. I believe they were for the US market released not that long ago. Special models and colaboration models can have exotic backlights. What do you think of this German Police Union model:

Thanks guys. Pretty cool Sjors (I really like that since I am a police officer in the US). Fer, do you have any photos of the one with a scorpion? Like I said, I bought it from ebay and I believe someone tried to make a fox fire version with a DW002 module placed into a fox fire case. It looks good but I wanted it to be more authentic and just put in the plain 1199 module with no G.
