Dw-003 question

I just picked this watch up.


The problem is, when I press the light button, the display dims, then turns off for a few seconds. The display comes back on and sometimes it resets everything. Does this mean it needs a new battery? Or is something else wrong?

Definitely your DW003's very subtle way of saying "please buy me a new battery...please...oh pretty please". It won't cost you very much, it's really easy and if you do it yourself you can be sure it's still waterproof. Sjors did a pictorial guide on how to change the battery on the exact same DW003 here How to change a battery on a G-Shock.

Well, I received mi batteries, and got to work on the watch. While I had the watch apart, I did this..........


I dyed the watch black, and did the reverse display mod. This was done with the help of Tsip85,
