    DW 9052 or DW 6900?

Ok. I have an AD that has both models new (NOS obviously). I believe both modules are the same.
    1659 and 1289.
I've had a 6900 before and I loved it. It is an icon and ubiquitous.
The 9052 has a cool movable lug/strap system. My wrist is 6.5 inches.
Price is the same. I know - get both.
I'd like some input please. Thanks.
Oh, and both say made in China. Was that normal back then? Mid 90's?

Had both, but gave the dw-9052 away.

I find the strap and overall fit of the dw-6900 to be much better than the dw-9052 for my 7in. wrist. Modules are very similar in features but day of the week slightly larger on the 6900. The strap on my dw-9052 kept slipping out of the keeper which was a bit annoying so I ended up giving it to a family member who wanted a g-shock. He loves it.

Can't go wrong either way though.
    Casio G-Shock: DW-6900 / DW-5600e / G-9100-2
    Casio: Edifice EQS-500C
    Citizen: Eco-Drive Corso Titanium
    Invicta: 8926c
    Seiko: Orange Monster
    Tissot: PRC200 / Quadrato Chronograph

My vote is the dw-6900. I have a soft spot for it cause it was my first G. It is a classic, and great bang for the buck! The comfort is hard to beat, and the size is perfect for a medium size wrist. Drop the hammer!

    Hello,

I had a dw9052 before but I let it go few months later. It wasn't that I don't like it, maybe it just blue :). Now considering 6900, with Tough solar>> G6900. This is because I try to get G with auto calender until 2099. Both have similar design and functions is about the same but differrent is Tough Solar and auto cal. 2099. Just a thought for you.

    With Best Regard... Caseiko

Yeah I'm thinking of getting the 9052 now because I want a white 6900 soon and maybe solar and atomic.

Anyone know the year these exact models came out? Are they reissues of the older ones?
I have been searching believe me. I'm curious because the date set on the 9052 was 95' and I believe 98'
on the 6900. Is that any indicator of the year they came out?
    BTW I still can't decide.

As the body of teh 6900 is a tad big on my wrist id always take the 9052, both are classic Gs you do nothing wrong with, although the 6900 is a bit more like the "iconic" G apart from the 5*** series.
