This just gave me an idea. How cool would it be if everybody passed around the old model Casio G-Shock Riseman with the capability of recording temperatures? It would be cool to see how hot the old model Casio G-Shock Riseman got this year. It is already the third heatwave in the United States, and it is only summer for two weeks now.

In Kansas last week, it was 114 F or 46 C. I even think that was a record. I can't imagine being in that heat, and I really don't want to. But, it is suppose to be in between 90 F to 100 F here on the Northeast for 7 more days. Which would make it like 12 or more days straight with temperature in between 90 F to 100 F in this third heatwave.
    My daily five watches.

G-Shock MTG930DA-8V, G-Shock GW-5600J-1, Citizen Eco-Drive BM8180-03E, G-Shock Riseman GW9200-1, and a Vostok Amphibia with a Russian Navy missile ship and a Russian Tank on a stainless steel oyster watch band.

Started the journey by hitting up Wiki Wiki ($5 car wash)

Then went on my way to the Carolina Aviation Museum. Stopped by and took a picture of the North Carolina Air National Guard Entrance

If you think this plane looks familiar you aren't seeing things. This is US Airways Flight 1549 'Miracle on the Hudson' plane rebuilt in the museum.

It was the exact plane that took a crash landing in the Hudson River in New York City. Zero casualties from the crash landing. As you can see they are still tryinhg to rebuild the plane to 100% there are still a bunch of pieces in the lower fuselage in the rear near the tail and ailerons that are still missing.

Forgot what type of military plane this was but there was a pilot and radar seat that you can go sit in!

Here I am in the pilot seat. The radar seat is behind the seat I was in about 0.60 meters.

The legendary Wright Brothers. North Carolina was the first place in the entire world that man invented and successfully piloted the first airplane. Not bad for two bicycle mechanics that were brothers.

Next I headed to Uptown (they don't call it downtown, but its the same thing) Charlotte. Took the LYNX which is the light rail to Uptown.

Visited the official NASCAR Hall of Fame. Charlotte is the biggest unofficial NASCAR headquarters. A lot of the teams and drivers are stationed in the Charlotte area. Therefore, it made sense to open the Hall of Fame here.

While walking to my next location I passed this restaurant. The name reminded me of Kung-Fusion and starscream1017 on this forum...lol

Here is a statue outside of the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art in Charlotte. When I saw this statue it reminded me of the song called 'Rooster in my Rari' by Waka Flocka Flame

Next I visited Time Warner Cable Arena. They are the home of the NBA team called the Charlotte Bobcats (a.k.a Cats). Couldn't get much closer because the arena is closed because they got new colors for their logo so they have to redesign everything. They are owned by NBA's greatest player called Michael Jordan. This team last season broke the NBA record for the lowest winning percentage in NBA history. Therefore making them the WORST team in NBA history. We are great at losing...all the time. This last season we went 7 wins and 59 loses. Took a picture of the arena but I don't think the pictures saved because I dropped my phone on the concrete...

Then I went over to the only professional sports team that actually wins anything in our city. The NFL Carolina Panthers who play at the Bank of America Stadium. Here are a few pics of the stadium that the G-Shock visited!

Outside the main entrance is two large panther statues. I took a picture of one of the panthers wanting to scare away your G-Shock!

Here the G-Shock is outside The Charlotte Observer headquarters. This the local newspaper for our city.

That is all the pictures that I took today. Did all of that in one day! Will probably take two more pictures later this week. The orange watch you see in some of the pictures is the first and only G-Shock I have. It is a GX-56 Solar G-Shock that I call 'Charmander'. Don't be shy to tell me what you think of the pictures everybody!
