    G-9000 Still Rides

It had been several months since I last wore this watch. I had fun with it today on my day off and took it on a 3+ hour hike. Personally, I like that the watch isn't updated or connected to anything. It is like an independent tool that holds its own. Other than some light crystal scratching and bezel dents this watch still performs. Anyone else still dig these?

The G9000 is one of my favorite models. Here are mine.

Sorry about the crappy light. Didn't feel like pulling out the big camera and light tent.

I was so excited for the new Mudman - I think I even pre-ordered the JDM version as it came out before the US version, IIRC. To be honest, I was a little disappointed in the overall size, especially when compared to the old DW-8400 Mudman. But, it was still pretty cool. Here's a pic before I sold mine off.

Ayeeee, this was the first watch I EVER bought. Started life as a G-9000BP, but after 6 summers, a trip to India, and 4 years of college varsity track, the pusher covers were worn thought...so replaced the bezel and its good as new!

G-9000 is one of my favorites, here's most of mine. It's an old pic so I probably have added one or two more that I haven't taken group pics of yet.

That silver one is particularly fetching. Really admire the Mudmen for their small form factor.

I still wear my G-9000BP for at least two days a week. It's? actually the most sensibly sized G-Shock in my opinion which is why I wear it the most often out of all my Gs. If only the G-7900 was this small... But then again the G-7900 aka baby Frogman is also the comfiest G-Shock I have.
