    Agree completely.

There are no G-shocks that look appropriate with formal attire.

This is tantamount to asking what sneakers go well with formal attire, or what color propeller cap goes best with formal attire, or which tie-dye shirt goes best with formal attire.

I'd even steer away from G's for business dress, if that means a suit and tie. I guess if you are trying to make the point that you are no follower of convention, a G might help make the case, but that is a trait perhaps valued more in creative or media industries than some others.

For business casual, though, I think you can wear any funky G that you want, including white, red, pink, or camo

All this being said, I am only relating my big-company observations in my own industry. Your mileage, observations and circumstances may vary. And you should wear what makes you happy.

The funkiest, most off-beat CEO I ever knew, an MIT engineer by training, wore an IWC instead of a Rolex at work.

The Director of the FBI, Robert Mueller, is also among those without worries.

None of these guys is a sartorial reference really! :)

They also wear that so that people have one less point to criticize them on. I bet each of these guys has Datejust in his drawer for when they go to the nice dinners.
