I screw people for money too -- I'm a lawyer (just kidding' -- I screw people for free!).

And I often sport a DW6900CB-1 with a suit, especially in the summer months:

IT Technical Instructor. Normally button down shirts and khakis, but I love the summer months in polos! Suddenly my customers (students) can see that I wear a different G or Pathy each day. Sometimes they even notice!

I've worked for a sub contractor for the last 20+ years that works for your (conus) uncle, we make things that are used in the "sand". Work attire is business casual, to be honest, rarely do I wear any of my watches, if I do, I take it off and leave it on my desk next to my cell, when I leave it goes back on. No issues w/g-shocks @ work. Surprised at the amount of health care professionals and IT guys, a lot of you on this forum!

I'm a part-time retail sales associate and full-time student. I own 5 watches and two of them are G-shocks (Frogman and Giez)!

I'm a shipper for a global automotive parts company. I basically get parts ready for the next day shipment and occasionally load trailers. Usually the ones that come in late or an expedited load. I also scan, strap, wrap and put away(in our warehouse) finished goods coming from the production floor. I usually rotate between my three G's, my one Seiko and occasionally my Citizen eco-drive AV0031-59A .

VBA Programmer and web designer. Starting to wear G-Shock Camo G5500MC-5 & G-Shock GW-1001 is coming. One everyday (camo) and "dressy" (1001). Geek-fest!

(PS Reminds me of childhood having G-Shock in 80's.)

Good to see the professionals represent.

Prior military officer and current defense analyst here. I also trade stocks as a side business. No dirty work now, but plenty of dirty hobbies. I wore a G when I was banging around on the carrier back in my active duty days. Nowdays, the G gets worn mostly on evenings and weekends, when I play with my kids and get dirty outside.

At work, the G is worn mostly when I dress down to business casual. I do dress down my wrist with a suit, but I usually do that by means of automatic dive watches with steel bracelets.

Web developer. I certainly don't NEED a G-Shock, but I like watches. More specifically titanium watches. I never interact with clients face-to-face, so I can wear whatever I want. When I have meetings with management I'll sometimes put on a Citizen or Seiko, but the president of my company is pretty techy so even my Casios he likes.

Field systems engineer. I never wear G's to work as it looks a bit cliched; IT worker in a digital watch. Prefer to wear a dressy analogue.
