It may not seem like I NEED a g-shock for my profession, but I really do. I have a new puppy to keep up with, and I live in a downtown area. I never know when I might have to repel boarders.

I'm a manager in a large in-house digital marketing agency at a international company, and the most wear and tear my watches get is some spilled coffee or a serious facepalm when project slip deadlines and budgets :)

Currently Working as a Software Testing professional in London,
been wearing DW6900 ,5500 , Frogman ,newly acquired GW-3000M-4AER (Orange strap gets noticed very quickly, I have been asked about the watch at least on 5 different times) , Tissot , Swatch.

Back home in India, I use to wear all kinds of G-shocks from my collection to work.
(Most of the people around me think I am crazy to buy so many G-shocks)

    Re: G-shock and profession?

I´m doing different jobs. I am enployed as a full time Janitor (facility manager), maintaining the technical appliances in houses. The evenings and nights are spent in a shop repairing/rebuilding bikes and from time to time i do renovation/repair work in homes and houses. Wear my DW 5600E nearly all the time and only happened to scratch it while toprope-climbing and missing a step.

Contractor here, lot's of hands on labor. I would wear any of my G's anywhere though honestly. Feel as comfortable with them on a site as in khaki's and a button up shirt in a meeting.
