I wear mine on the 6th or 7th hole, depending on my wrist at the time, and how tight I want it. Looks more like a TANK than an anchor - it's not called the BEAST for nothing!!

And for the GPW un-initiated, in case there is any confusion, this is a hearty BUY, BUY, BUY recommendation!!! Below is the GPW RAF!

Just got the tester GPW watch and it feels great on the wrist! It feels like a Rangeman and has an almost perfect fit with the band. Now, how do I get one of those fancy blue and orange ones at a good price?

I bought mine slightly used on eBay for a decent price but they're not always available as this is a Japan only watch. You can always check Higuchi, Seiya or Shopping in Japan. They typically have reasonable prices, unless it's a model that is out of production and they're limited in quantity.

Damn you guys! (GPW-1000-2a, Maharishi GWG, GPW-1000T). One question, how easy is it to change the clasp to black? The 2A needs black hardware.

Congratulations! I just got my 2AJF yesterday and am very happy with it. I do like the weight savings on the titanium but the 2AJF looks so good.. My wife prefers so the titanium will most likely have to go.

Dimensions are important, but more wearable than the Mudmaster, opposite the readability, I prefer the Mudmaster, the dial is with more contrast and principal hands are well visible. Hard to capture immediately the day of the week and the day of the month.
The band is very comfortable the carbon fiber layer not reduce the flexibility.

The Gravity is a great watch, more to wear and look at, than to use, for professional features.

It is so beautiful that I have not intention to replace it with the coming GPW-2000, but is a real member of my permanent collection.

Re: GPW-1000 GravityMaster buy or not buy?

I have a small problem with the Gravity, every night, around midnight, the watch sync regularly with Frankfurt, at 8 AM I check the time with the Protrek and is the same, seconds also...
At 8 PM there is a difference, the Gravity is two seconds in advance. Other watches have not this difference, Mudmaster Protrek, Rangeman, the same time.
Every 20 hours the difference is 2 seconds, so 72 seconds every month! Not good for electronic watch, top class and price!
