Leave mine on a chest of drawers in bedroom.Not near a window.Level never drops below high
This is where mine are stored when not being worn:
Mine are in a watch case and I keep them there or wear them. I never have to put it in the sunlight for the sole purpose of charging. I just checked and the ones I can check are all on high so just being in a room with natural or artificial light seems enough.

All of them live on the dresser near a window, but out of direct sunlight, so they don't "cook".
