I don't own this model so I don't know, does the manual indicate an answer?

Why are you trying to drain the battery?? AFAIK it is not a ni-cad so draining it is not helpful to long life.

Yeah, I'm also curious, why do you try to completely discharge it?

The PRG-70 uses the CTL-1616. CTL is a abbreviation for Cobalt Titanium Lithium and they are made by Panasonic. And as the name implies, it's definately not a ni-cad.

I havent found any information wichever it's good or not to discharge thoose, but almost all newer consumer rechargeables I've heard of, dont like to be discharged.

Well, if it's not working well, it might be worth a try, but I dont think it's worth the hazle.... Just swap with a new one, if there's problems...

    Nice watch, btw

Ok, the watch spended almost a week in the freezer and its still working (CHRG flashing). Its working fine with no problem and i just want to deplete the batt to see how much time the "CHRG" icon will be blinking and then recharge it again

    Ah, I see.

Personally, I'm a bit unsure if those CTL-batts likes a completes discharge would be interesting to hear your results, initially, and long term results
