DW-5600E, helping out on my buddy's farm.
I believe every G-Shock is made for being beaten. But what makes the 5600e indespensible is the fact that it is so easy to replace. No watch could be further from being a collector's item than this. Nothing on this watch says "spare me" with cloying sentimentality. It has best value for money and sourcing is easy. On top of this it's just lightweight, small, comfy.
This one is about 5 years old and even when I felt like wearing another watch, it was strapped to the handle of my toolbox, just ready to undertake if things would be getting too dirty.
Being beaten will not necessarily show in a bezel, crystal or strap of a watch. It may also be heavy vibrating tools or having a sauna with a subsequent jump into a lake that has just 4°C.

Sorry about that i thought the link was working.

As soon as it is removed from the light, it quits working. It has no power reserve without the battery.

Oh yeah, my GW1210 didn't have capacitors in it at all for like 3 years, but it came on everytime I put it under my desk lamp.

GX-56 is my beloved beater. Ben trying to kill it since 2011. Maybe cause its massive, or Japan made, or im not as rough as I think I am with it, I think it'll be around for another 7 years.

In your "did I get a good deal" thread and the "let's see how long it will last thread" you said you just bought it recently for $20 bucks. Same picture too. Confused.
