    Looking for a Comfortable G

I've been on and off the fence for a riseman but I don't particularly like the size of it on a 6.5 inch wrist. I love the 5600 series. I own a screwback (901)series and the g5600j. Ideally I would take the g5600j and put it on a fast wrap band strap or a zulu and never worry again, perfection....but that is not possible evidently. Does Casio make a solar version 5600 that will accept a velcro band or a nato zulu band? Thanks

You can put a zulu strap on any 5600/5000 (with exception of the 5600j since I am not sure) all you need is strap adapters and the strap. Here is my GW-5000b on maratac zulu straps. The GW-5000 strap is also very comfortable. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and I think the squares are super comfortable for my size there are of course other models, but I definitely think the smaller models tend to be more comfortable.

Go for a standard G-5600 (not the "J" version) - the adapters should work on those too and they are far cheaper than a GW-5000 - they don't have the steel case but the features are basically the same - except for atomic reception - if you want that - take a look at the GW-M5610 - the successor to the GW-M5600.

you can go as cheap as a dw-5600e (about 40 on amazon) or some of the ones Sedi recommended, the adaptors (cheapest from casio directly otherwise like $12), and your choice of straps.

So both the G-5600E and the GW-M5610 will take the strap adapters from countycomm? If so thats good news. Thanks for the help!

Yes, the adapters will fit but they can be a little hard to get installed. I had a GLS-5600 (same case as a GW-M5600 and GW-M5610) with adapters - they're basically "one size fits all". But I changed it to a standard strap as my wrists are too broad and the watch was "floating" above my wrist with the adapters.

    cheers, Sedi

The ones I ordered from broadarrow.net ($12 a pair) will work. Here is a link to a video I made a while ago showing you how to put the adaptors and the zulu strap.
