Congrats on the early birds... price jumped up to $274.99. Crap. I guess with dozens selling each day, he realized that he had underpriced it. Oh well.

Got mine today....a day early! I have to say...strap is VERY comfortable compared to my Burton rangeman and GD-400. Also, and this is nitpicking I know, but the buttons are much easier to press as well. Looking forward to working it into the rotation.

May be he was confused between the GWN1000 and the GN1000.

This just in (at the $155 pp, yay). Just finished reading the manual and messing with the functions. This is a fun watch.

Funny thread title, btw, OP - clickbait worked on me!

Someone confirm to me if this is Multiband (Atomic time) or not? The time shows 1 hour ahead today. If it is, how do I set it?

It does have Multiband 6. Your DST setting is probably off. Unlock the crown, and pull it out. Press the lower left button until you see DST setting, then rotate the crown to "on". When done, push the crown back in and lock it. Also make sure the home city for your time zone is correct. Reading the manual will help...

He said it's already one hour ahead. If DST is OFF and he changes it to ON, won't this make it two hours ahead?

If the home city is set correctly and DST is set to AUTO, the time should be correct after the first successful sync.

It didn't sound to me like he wanted to wait until the next sync.

Bottom line is he should take a look at the manual. The manual for each module would answer at least 90% of the questions we get on here about any particular G's functions, IMO...

Thanks guys, I followed some of you advice and some online stuff and managed to set it to correct hour hand but it is 5 mins off, not sure how that happened. Will wait for it to get synched.
