Anyone familiar with this line of watches? I was interested in purchasing one before I found this forum and find myself once again interested in them. I'm considering selling a few G-Shocks to fund a purchase, but it's a tough call.

If I purchased one I would be selling the following G's so I don't know if it would be worth it.
PAG-40
G8000 dyed black
G2300B
DW6900MC-7 dyed black
That would clear out a lot of my G-Shocks![]()
It depends how much you like it. I think the special forces stuff on the dial puts a lot of people off, including me. Other than that they're pretty smart (I like the first one best).

I think it's a bit lame when manufacturers use branding like 'special forces' to sell a watch and make it look tough when basically the most common G-Shock would more likely be worn.
Watches are frickin evil!
That top one would look amazing with a sterile dial. As it is, with the 'special ops' stamp, I'm not sure I'd wear it. They seem like good quality though.
The top one has a light feature that is like a torch; used for reading maps.
I'm in the 'I'd like it if it didn't say Special Ops on the face' camp. Lots of cool design features though; I particularly like the knurled bezel, allen bolts and solid-looking crowns.
Have you considered a Traser?
Like a lot of others here are saying, all that "Spec Ops" branding ruins an otherwise interesting watch. What would be a great tool to show off to everyone instead is a source of potential embarrasment.
It's one thing to have cool gadgets and pretend to be a super spy, but for heaven's sake, don't tell anyone else that's what you're thinking!![]()
