    Frogmans are definitely classics.

This particular Tactician model looks like it has some design cues from the MRG-1100T Frogman, with some interesting differences. Definitely more financially accessible!

I'm looking to get the gray/black faced one with "Revman" dial lettering in red. The blue faced version looks terrific as well. Over how much time were you looking for the Revman models when you finally ended up with all 3 in your collection?

    Re: My collection.

In 2004 Casio issued the MRG-2100DG the first G Shock to feature both DLC and sapphire together.

This one is a bit of a hybrid, it has the MRG's DLC case and buttons, sapphire crystal, dial, hands and titanium DLC bracelet, but has a negative LCD, and different bezel. Attractive though.

Moving onto 2006, the first of the super expensive, hardened titanium, DLC MRG's the MRG-7100BJ-1AJF. It was about 160,000 yen at the time.

One of the best looking ana/digi's ever in my opinion.

Here it is with the last of my MRG's the MRG-7500BJ-1AJF released in 2007. This was the first of the all analogue super expensive MRG's we see today. I actually prefer the look of this to the later 8000s etc where they altered the look just for changes sake I think rather than because they were improving it aesthetically.

Nice collection sir. Your awesome watches are much appreciated because of your utmost photographic skills. Your photos are so clear, they give emphasis on details about your watches. That's the reason I enjoy your thread so much.

    Re: My collection.

Well I will move onto the classic DW-6900 series next.

My first one of these dates from 1998 the FIFA World Cup model in yummy red jelly.

Still in 1998 and a rather special one I call the Alpha Omega of BAPE G Shocks. Casio issued the very first BAPE collaboration in this year the Rainbow Black DW-6900. They have since issued many more as the first few issues were massively popular and basically sold out instantly. However, this is the Alpha BAPE.

And the Omega part? Well check the serial number.

    Re: My collection.

Now March 2001 and the 'Real Black' this was designated the DW-069BK.

Still in 2001 the DW-6900FL, part of the iridescent metallic series which also are known as 'Snakekillers', the colour changes with the light. Very pretty.

    Re: My collection.

Now in 2003 the DW-6900ML part of the 30th anniversary series.

Now in 2004 and the second series of DW-6900 BAPE's. These became the most faked G Shocks ever. There must be more than a hundred fakes for every real one out there. Which is a pity as it has affected the value of the real ones as people are a bit wary of buying.

This is the Rainbow White, the most popular of the series

Here is the BAPE store 'staff' edition of the yellow BAPE. It is distinguished from the retail version by a slightly different colour combination and 'lightning bolts' on the EL. 1000 of each were issued.

    Here is the retail version.
