New Arrival: G001HC-1 "Jason" Foundation Exclusive

first off, i dont know what "Jason Foundation Exclusive" really really means .... i can tfind any background on this piece, other than the usual history of why it is called a "JASON" piece, but dont know what the "Foundation Exclusive" actually represents or how many of these were even produced etc.

all i know is, the watch looks really good and unique...here is my quick take on it and a few pics.

Pros:
-really comfortable fit
-good wrist presence and size
-nice color combo
-love the negative display
-good EL light with auto function
-beep/light sync to alarm, timer, and signal

Cons:
-not much about this piece compared to the typical 6xxx and 5xxx series of gshock watches
-and as mentioned numerous times, the module is just something basic, Casio could have at least made it SOLAR

Verdict:
-if the looks is your style and you can get over the basic module found in this watch...its a pretty robust piece that fits well on any wrist size and is darn comfortable too!!!
with this particular piece i really liked the red eye not found on the other JASON models

yup a few websites that sell this exact model specify it as a "Foundation Exclusive"

I think the correct model number is G-001-8C. (HC suffix is for hyper-colors).

Is there any special engraving on the back, similar to the Stussy edition?

It's not a Hyper Color. I think it is a basic model, released October 2011. The series of two had no real name I think. Something like "The new Jason colors are: Black x Grey, Navy x Grey and Black x Gold". All thee seem discontinued. I personally like the Black x Gold model of this series, but this one, with the light gray face plate looks nice too.

yes the model number might have been mixed up, sorry

but i dont recall any special engravings in the back of the watch, and even from the pics it came on a normal type of box and tin .... still mysterious how CASIO came about naming this piece "Foundation Exclusive"

with a bit of googling i found a foundation called the "Jason Foundation" (not sure if its any relation to the watch) but the foundation emphasizes on awareness of teen suicide .... still weird
