Thanks! I too was a bit concerned with these new plastic buttons, but I have found I like them a lot. The metal pushers on the 3k are nice but can be a little tricky to press because they are flush with the "bumpers" that surround them. The 4k however has nicely sized and solid plastic ridged buttons. They give the watch a perfect clean look around the edges, and they have a real nice pressing action that is easy and I don't have to use the tip of my finger to work them like I do sometimes on the 3k.

I remember reading (though I can't find it anywhere now!), that the buttons were metal and IP plated - are you sure they are plastic?

You are right - I just checked mine out! The buttons are indeed metal on the 4k, and with their elongated form are much easier to work than the flush round buttons on the 3k. I like them!

Sweet I got my orange version yesterday and a killer G-Shock it is,make sure to add some pics when you get it and yes I do believe that's a pretty good price considering is coming directly from Japan!
