New arrival od skool l DW6900h-4 (pics)

Purchased on Ebay, was listed badly just as "gents g shock watch" and stated new, so not to obvious really.

turned out to be NOS with a stamped dated warranty book from a shop in Norwalk UK

end production date was march 1995


got it for a grand total of £32!!

anyone know why it has a plastic clasp?

Original DW-6900-1v has a chunky plastic clasp. Not something very secure and sturdy, but gets its job done.
Great deal, this is what you call bang for the buck(pound in this case ).

Hi Mike,

This model is called "Red Zone". One of the first G-Shocks sold in Europe, mostly in germany. It has a yellow brother, which was also popular, the "Taxi Driver". Back in the days German (European) models had a nickname. It's not really a rare model. You still can find these two models if you look around good in Europe, even 15 years after they have been sold. You paid a good price for it. It's quite a cool G-Shock. Congratulations! The yellow version was my first 6900-er in 2001.
