The resin is always a concern on old vintage models. The resin on this though looks and feels just like new as it has probably been just stored away. I reckon there are many long years of life left in this model.
Funny enough, given its rarity, there is a band and bezel set for the DW-6194-1B for sale on Yahoo at the moment. Going for $125 though which is a little more than I want to pay at this time.

I don't think Casio have ever released production numbers for these but they cannot be large. Japan failed to qualify for the 94 World Cup finals and this must have affected demand.
There are not many about as they don't come up for sale very often and Google doesn't produce very much in terms of people who have got them. Indeed, if you enter DW-6194 this thread is the number one hit!
