One day I hope to pickup a Rangeman. I own the Riseman. Let me tell you. You can really beat it up and still find a way to use it. The holes for the watch bands wore out so I drilled holes in the bezel so I can put strainless steel bars in it from old watch buckles from nylon nato straps, and then made my own watch band from old velco straps from old ball caps. I still wear it. It is a truly customized a watch, and one of a kind. I even wore it for a year on my keychain. And it has been used since 2010. I like it because it is my second source for storms when they come around. Hopefully never. This is why the GW6900-1 or basic G-Shocks make great everyday watches. It is like the standard to wear all day everyday. The specialty G-Shocks are for something you need like a tool. A watch should be versatile in all aspects in all situations. Even if you break the strap and need to find a way to wear it on your wrist again.

The MTG is retired and the 5600 too. Right now, the only working G-Shocks that I use and enjoy are the Riseman GW9200-1 and the GW6900-1

If I can own a Rolex Submariner I would. I know they are tough too, their homages are tough. Trust me.

    G-Shock MTG930DA-8V, G-Shock GW-5600J-1. G-Shock Riseman GW9200-1, G-Shock GW6900-1

    Fellow WIS'ers:
Everyone knows there is no word in a dictionary that rhymes with the word orange.
Nor is there anything quite like a 9400 in orange color.
Myself, I'm hankering for the green Rangeman. Intend to rectify not having a greenie
