The trails and tribulations of an OCD minimalist G-shock flipper

So....... short story long: after finally coming to peace with downgrading my Shock choice to a simple / cheap / minimal DW-5600, I now have acquired yet another Shock.

Backstory: a family member knows I'm a Shock flipper, so he came to me asking which one he should get. He was looking for all metal, big digits, and something "comfortable". I told him that my favorite all metal was an old MTG-900 I had years ago. I hunted one down on Amazon for him and suggested he try it out. Well...... he did in fact order one, and bought me one for helping him out (since I raved about how much I liked having one in the past).

So, I just received it yesterday - which is awesome and all...... but completely goes against my desire to have one watch. My solution? I gave my DW-5600 to his son - this way I still only have one daily wear Shock, and his boy gets his first Shock. :)

I'm still struggling with how to get rid of my GXW-56, since it was kind of a gift too...... but I'll figure something out.

I do want to...... and I was going to sell it to a forum member - but it was *kind of* a gift, even thought I bought it myself (long story again). I am going to sell it some time in the near future, I just have to wait for the gift giver to forget about it! (and yes, I know it is kind of a douche thing to do - but I hate owning anything not being used).
