Thanks for your feedback on GW5000 but I do not agree on one
because one making me nervous in this watch are: information on the display in GW5000 very fast changes in the number '8 ' when I have it on the left wrist
I more prefer to display from DW5000SL :)

buttons working hard as in my model of 2009? Casio has improved and this in later models?

    Good stuff,

it is a lovely piece, classy and retro indeed. I agree that it would be nice to see some differentiation from the $100 models but then again WE know the difference. When I'm looking at pics now I always check out the date punctuation mark - so it's working as a marketing thing for me.

Glad you are going to wear it daily. That's what it's all about - these are G-Shocks, not some handbuilt exotica or something which costs thousands to repair.

But buying duplicates of everything inc Omegas? Oh my that's proper scary but well done you for being in such a financial position #looksonenviously

Proper scary and proper unnecessary indeed. It's funny and unfortunate, because I'm behaving in accordance with the quote in my signature. I'm in the process of trying to break the habit though. I was taking pictures of one of my Blue Seamasters to put up for sale. My wife saw the watch and told me that she actually didn't like that watch. I said "That's too bad because it's my favorite watch in my collection". She said "Well, then why are you selling it?" I said "Because I have multiples of them" She said..."You have WHAT???" "No you don't, Do You?" "REALLY?" Oops. This is the only thing I spend my personal money on which is another reason I need to stop. It's preventing me from getting into other things I'm interested in, like photography. But then I'm eventually going to need more watches to take pictures of

    PMSL

You have just been OWNED by your wife which is priceless my friend, now you are in twice the trouble you were before hahahaa.

Don't get me started on photography, now that's some expensive sh1t right there. And I'm considering selling some of my pro lenses which don't get used much as I don't take many pictures these days which warrant pointing a £1000 lens at.

excellent watch, wearing one right now. Easily one of the most simplistic, yet classy G's out there.

Interestingly according to the watch-tanaka site for the GW-M5610-1JF ¥«¥·¥ª G-SHOCK¥½¡¼¥é¡¼ÅÅÇÈ GW-M5610-1JF CASIO G-SHOCK - G-SHOCK ¥Ï¥ß¥ë¥È¥ó ¥»¥¤¥³¡¼¤ÎÀµµ¬¥·¥ç¥Ã¥× ¥¿¥Ê¥«»þ·×Ź ÄÌÈÎ¥µ¥¤¥È a dash is used as the date separator in the top pic and yet the watch portrayed in the video has a dot. It might have been a prototype but that's just a guess.
