Used FromJapan for the First Time!

    Hi guys,

I signed up at FromJapan about 6 mths ago but never ended up using the account until last week.

    http://www.fromjapan.co.jp/

I found a nice DW-3000 on yahoo-japan and ended up buying it using fromjapan. Then also found a Citizen titanium digital dive watch. It was all very easy to use and a very good website. It didn't take long to understand how the process worked, they accepted credit cards and paypal .. and so far so good. My items should ship tomorrow so hopefully they arrive early next week :) Very exciting & very easy!

Great, never heard of the site. Be interested in hearing about your experience once you receive the item.

I placed a few bids on yahoo auction through fromjapan as well.
That's one way to get those japan only models.

    btw,
I'm quite curious about how everybody here gets their limited edition/ japan only/ vintage rare Gs.
So far I know I can buy from seiya, and of course there's ebay.
Any suggestions? (hope this is not violating the forum regulation.)
Would appreciate if anyone could share his tricks.

hi guys, i have been using fromjapan for the past few months, and i have bought most of my frogman from there. sometimes the items can cost below retail, and sometimes more. its a good place to get spare parts like bezels, bands or screws which the casio authorised dealer in your country might not have. i always use the sniper bid system which bids on my behalf to win some amazing auctions

oh, and the shipping's pretty fast too!

I have used them a couple of times, good service, a tad on the expensive side but the sniper bid system is killer.
    Real men don't need instructions.

Well yes ... I actually made my first purchase without really understanding nor calculating the charges.

Anyway .. I was certain it wasn't ridiculously hundreds of dollars so I didn't worry too much.

I have used them a few times and it has worked great everytime.

They are not quite as expensive as they used to be now when they do not charge any commission fee anymore.

Also when dealing with them I definetly recommend that you use their packing service and buy 2 or more watches at the same time. This saves on shipping and is particulary usefull when you buy one expensive and one cheaper one because the cheap one might otherwise not be worth it with the shipping fee included. The International shipping for 2 watches is almost the same as for one.
