Picture The watch I wasn't going to buy: Mudman GW-9300ER-5JF (big photos)

I wasn't going to buy this, everyone talked me out of it, and then my finger slipped on the mouse...

I really do think this watch is beautiful, I really love the mix of colours. Even the slight purple hue of the solar panel suits it perfectly. Unfortunately I have to say that it didn't instantly sit perfectly on my wrist as well as some of my other g-shocks. I'm just wearing it around the house at the moment to see if I get used to the feel, not 100% certain I will keep it.

Agreed. What are you using to shoot?

A Panasonic Leica 45mm micro four thirds macro lens on an epl-1 body. It's all in the preparation for macro. I wrote a bit on my technique back here, hasn't changed much since:
Not a G-Shock, but it is Solar Atomic, PMV65-2241 -Large images!

Get every thing very clean before you start, micro fibre cloth and a blower brush! ;)

Is this with auto white balance or manual setting?

I used manual white balance. Personally I would always recommend people to put the effort into the setup rather than the camera. Most cameras have pretty good automatic settings these days. No amount of tweaking settings can make up for poor lighting and composition. Experimentation is the trick to photography.

It would be wonderful if I could make my wife buy this.
Congrats on a great piece (and awesome shots!)!
    Cheers!
