Speaking of being a child of the 80's, this thread can't help but to make me think of one of my favorite childhood characters. You can guess what all of my friends and I claimed the B.A. stood for

I watched that show as well. I thought Mr. T was great in that role. But have you seen the 'newer' A-Team movie? (from 2010) I thought they did an excellent job with the casting. I especially enjoyed Quinton "Rampage" Jackson as B.A. I mean, he is a true badass, being an MMA fighter. And the actor that portrayed Murdock did a great job also, IMO.

Nope. We would need way more Gshock pics for it to be classified as such.

Not all Americans talk like that. Only the most badass and awesome ones do.

After working with the U.S. Army for most of last year and part of 2017 I was annoyed that all the soldiers think they are Crocodile Dundee and say "No Worries" all the time. The only thing worse was when they said "too easy" and proceeded to screw up big time. Before 2014 no American was ever heard to say No Worries. They even say mate somtimes ugh.

Please, in the name of all that is good and holy and right with the world, do not judge Americans by the reality shows being churned out on television. Okay, maybe judge a few of us. Well, maybe a lot. More than I would like to admit, actually. Okay, don't judge a small minority of us.

    Sigh...

You wouldn't happen to know anyone looking for a yank expat flatmate would you?

Have you seen the movie, "Idiocracy"? I thought it was awful when it first came out. I watched it again recently. It made me sad. Who knew???

A man wearing a watch, outside of purely social functions (where, strictly speaking, a watch is not supposed to be worn),
makes it clear to everyone in his purview that they are in the presence of a man who considers his time something of value,
    not something to be wasted.

My patience wears a bit thin though when I hear the former with 'sauce' as in 'awesome sauce' (meaning 'awesome-icity'),
and the latter in its noun form, as in 'badassery.'

It's just debasement, is what it is, this "tumorization" of language, at this speed.
