    WRUW: Professional Attire/Formal Wear Edition

The topic of wearing Gs with professional attire, formal wear, with a suit, with a tie, etc., comes up often. I thought it would be a good idea to post pictures in one threat that people can continously add to, so that in the future anyone who is on the fence about it can make their own decision based on how other people's Gs look in professional attire/formal wear.

This is not a discussion on whether or not you should do it, there are a couple threads on that. It is merely a WRUW threat dedicated solely to Gs being worn with professional attire/formal wear.

So whenever you do wear a G with professional attire/formal wear-post it here. After al,l I get ideas for buying watches from the daily WRUW I am sure someone will see this and think it is fine to wear Gs to work or a formal occasion, or think it is not, haha.

Good thread idea. I tend to wear formal clothes about twice a year, but I'll be sure to post itt next time the tie comes out.

If you don't mind me digging up some older shots I've already posted over time...

I won't actually wear the RAF to work since it doesn't fit under my shirt cuffs, however I'd just picked it up from the post office and of course I had to break it in.

Not at all. I have been researching the MRG-7600D, your picture is awesome. Does the MRG fit under your cuff?

@LUW the yellow frog is very nice

The MRG fits fine with most of my shirts and is my go-to work watch. A couple are snug however and in those cases I typically will wear either the PRX or an Omega.

Re: WRUW: Professional Attire/Formal Wear Edition

Think I've posted most of these pics in threads of a similar nature... I love to sport my G's in all situations, some are easier to work with a suit, but with my office life being business casual I wear them almost all the time. And if the G doesn't fit under cuffs then I just let it stick out and pose!

In a suit - the Giez models are easiest, but have been rocking the GWF-1000BP lately. On my next suit-up will be thinking about the 1000B too.

The GS-1200M is the most serious ...

but I'm a sucker for the rose gold too...

And while I don't usually combine the red Giez with formal wear, I found the right occasion ...

Not a great pic, but really liking this combo a lot lately..

The Manaslu also gets time with a suit - leather strap and all..

An oldie that never gets old: MRG-120.

And the GS-1300, despite being a big old honkin' chunk of steel, has a nice low profile that fits smoothly under a cuff.
