Need help deciding to buy an Orient Submariner

Hello,
As I understand the 2ER0001B has been discontinued for a while and it is almost impossible to find one, right? But what about the updated CER00007B model? That is a newer model with sapphire crystal that is also discontinued by now?
I like the dial much better in the original version but can live with the newer one...
My question is, Are they currently available? I found some on www.roachman.com. It seems to be a seller in Singapore. They are asking $178 plus $28 shipping to the US. Is that too much? I understand people were paying around $100 when they new? I also think that the bracelet is really cheap which means another $50-$75 on a decent aftermarket Oyster bracelet? Should I pass? Am I better off saving more money and getting a Steinhart Ocean one ( I am very familiar with those)...

I think this question belongs in the Orient forum. I hang around there because I have a few Orient watches, but not too sure about the 2ER. The pros over there can definitely give you an answer.

By the way, I think roachman is in Malaysia (Penang) if I'm not mistaken.

I did it with the IPad application and either I placed it in the wrong forum or it is one of the few bugs in the app. I see errors all the time.
