It's also skeletonized in a unique way.
Because of its aggressive styling, I'd wonder if I would love it in 10, 20, 30 years.
I think I'd be more conservative in a $5K+ watch, looking at El Primeros, that beautiful B&M Flyback shown above, or the best JLC I could find on the used market (though the Reverso Duo isn't a particularly good "every day" watch) but if you love it, go for it.

*World of Watches seems to have a similar watch for $8K http://www.worldofwatches.com/detail...9441413144910#
Thanks for the comments. I'm glad someone likes my lead watch choice besides me ...but in the end, as has been stated many times, it comes down to personal taste.

I do think it is a very good deal, particularly given the fact that is comes with full warranty and papers from a Brick and Mortar seller for a Limited Edition Watch with in-house movements and complications. However, no deal can be a good deal for an unattractive watch. I'd like to think that if I do get tired of the watch in a decade or two that I will have earned the right to buy another (or two or three or...). It's pretty addictive. I'd like to buy one of every watch that has been suggested in this thread.

^^ Yup, a '96 or newer NA Miata and prep it for SCCA spec racing.

Not sure how well this adheres to the price-point. Chrono24 has a number of sellers at $7000-7500, but I've never seen a Nicolas Rieussec offered for less than $8300 in the flesh.

One of those just sold on eBay for less than $4,200 used. Someone got a great deal!

Is the month hand/bottle opener some kind of Montblanc inside joke? Shouldn't that be on a Victorinox?

I don't think I've seen an Aqua Terra or a Speedmaster yet.

    WUS, you're slipping!
