    $7000. What would you buy?

    Hi All,

About to pull the trigger on a purchase of a $7000 watch, but I can't help feeling like I may not have fully explored all the options. I'm looking for a watch that can be dressed up (suit) or down (jeans), distinctive but not too trendy, ideally a leather band but not a must have. I seem to gravitate towards watches that are partially skeletonized, not sure why .

Would love to see some suggested options, with pictures for those who are so inclined.

    Thanks!

Transocean Chronograph Limited Edition. A very good comprehensive inhouse movement and versatile enough to wear with cuffs or jeans. It can be had for around $6500-$7000 and yes it is worth it.

In that price range, JLC Navy Seals would be my choice...
