Picture * closed * GIVE-A-WAY #6 WIN a Momentum® Watch by St. Moritz Watch Corporation

    Weehaaaaaa, here's number 6 !

This time you have the chance to WIN a Momentum® Cobalt Lite Watch from Momentum® by St. Moritz Watch Corporation

St. Moritz Watch Corp. commenced operations in North America in 1980.

From the outset, we specialized in high quality sports watches, producing our own designs and also acting as agents for some well-known Swiss brands. We developed a strong OEM clientele, designing, manufacturing and servicing durable watches for a number of prestige clients under their own brands. Our clients include some of the most prestigious sports chains, catalog companies and automobile manufacturers in the world.

Our watch collection expanded slowly but steadily, based on our reputation for providing customers with unparalleled value for money. Nobody is tougher on watches than SCUBA divers, so it is no coincidence that we have become particularly well known as a manufacturer of high quality divers’ and watersports watches.

By the early 1990’s, we decided to focus on our own Momentum® and St. Moritz brands, and gradually relinquished agencies for other watch lines. We have become market leaders in the specialty SCUBA market segment, with an unmatched selection of different models, technologies and price-points. Our expertise in waterproof watches has also allowed us to expand rapidly into specialty sports, outdoor and paddle stores, with an emphasis on functional, legible watches that are built to last.

While the movements in our watches come either from Switzerland or Japan, we source components for our watches from all over the world. It is not unusual to find one of our models using a Swiss movement, a Japanese steel case and a deluxe band from Italy. Our goal is always to provide the best quality and value, sourcing each part that goes into our watches directly from the source, to deliver the maximum “bang for the buck”.

Today, with offices, warehouse facilities and Service Centers in Canada, the USA and Europe, we continue to build our reputation for value, quality and service. Our worldwide sales are expanding, with a steady increase in new dealers, distributors and service points around the globe. Our company is a founder member of DEMA (the Diving Equipment and Marketing Association) and a member of the Outdoor Industries Association.

We continue to strive to put the best into our products, spending extra time on the smallest details, so that our watches will truly be “a little out of the ordinary”…. If you already wear a St. Moritz or Momentum® watch, we hope the energy and passion we put into each product we make will make itself felt!
    The Watch:

The Cobalt Lite will allow you to stand out in the dark. With a dial coated in layers of "Grade A" superluminova from Switzerland the Cobalt Lite will allow you to read the time all night long.

The Cobalt Lite retains all of the features that made the original Cobalt V a smash hit including the Momentum "V-series" movement, sleek casing and fashionable oversized watch face.
    The Contest:
The rules are simple. You will need to browse the Momentum® website and find your favorite model. Once you found it you should post the name of the model, a description and most important of all, you should describe why you like this particular watch the most. Your post must be a reply to this original post.

Out of all entries Momentum will draw a lucky winner. The winner will be announced in this forum.

Terms: the winner is responsible to provide his or her real name, address and phone number in order to receive the watch. The watch comes free of charge, including shipping. The winner can be charged with local customs, duties, etc. We will not lower the value of the price in the shipping documents. Anyone who does not accept these terms is urged not to take part in this give-a-way.

NOTE: there will be no communication whatsoever about this give-a-way, nor about the winner. All related emails and PMs will be deleted without being read.

    GOOD LUCK !
    Best regards,

The Innerspace is the Momentum watch I most prefer. It has an inner rotating bezel, exhibition caseback, 300m WR, and a Swiss movement.

I currently have 3 Momentum watches and they are all excellent. The Innerspace is a dressy diver that I can wear to work or to the ocean. It has day/date complication and an automatic movement that can be viewed from the back.

The Square 2: cushion cased, 3-hand movement with big date display at 12.

Like the layout, very unique with the date position at 12. Not like anything I have right now, so thats why I want it.

My favorite is the M1 Deep 6. The watch sports a 48.68mm diameter, quartz movement, 200m water resistance, 316L stainless steel case, and functions include hours, minutes, seconds and the date.

I like this watch because of the classic dive watch styling cues from past watches. The watch may have taken styling cues but has added touches like the larger diameter and quartz accuracy. The bezel design is also very different. The presentation of the numerals on the bezel allow for quick reading. Unlike a lot of dive watches, the 4:00 crown adds to the comfort of wear.

    Thank you Momentum.

My favorite is the innerspace. I think the internal bezel is the key feature that draws me to this watch.

It features a 300M/990FT depth rating, curved sapphire crystal and display back showing off a stunning 25 jewel decorated Swiss automatic movement. The watch features two offset crowns and a bi-directional internal rotating bezel. The indexes and hands have been treated with layers of Superluminova that ensure hours of glow in the dark legibility.

Well, already being the owner of a Storm Chrono, I'd go with this Cobalt (maybe the black dial version). It would make a nice dress watch you could jump of a plane or take a shallow dive .

My favorite is the Aquamatic II:
The Swiss-made divemaster’s timepiece with deluxe 25 jewel self winding movement, solid 316L stainless steel case, mineral glass display back, 990FT/300M rating, , screw down, locking crown, superluminous dial and hands, date, and unidirectional ratchet bezel.

I love divers and this is the classic look, and has all the necessary features.

    My favorite: Innerspace

    Case diameter: 44.00mm
    Thickness: 14.00mm
    Weight (on metal brclt): 0.5lb / 0.22kg
Analogue, Swiss-made Automatic Mechanical, 25 Jewel movement
Internal bezel, HH, MM, SS, DAY/DATE
Automatic, wound by motion of wrist
Solid 316L Stainless Steel, Mineral glass display back
    Curved, Scratch resistant Sapphire Glass
    Brushed Stainless Steel

My vote goes to the Lugano Automatic. This is the classic styling that is foundational to the Swiss. I have long been fascinated by the appropriate application of numerical fonts. Look at the 4, for example. You might see the same font on a street address in Geneva. Love the watch. Thanks for doing this!

Well to be honest it's the new Cobalt Lite.

I checked them for the other thread and this watch is for me the nicest in the range. It's clean and can be worn every where also you can wear it on different straps. I would probably like to wear this one on a Nato! And last but not least I was always fascinated by dial with a total lume,...

I like the M1 Deep 6...there is just something about the case and hands that I like. I like the way the 'exploding' date harkens back to vintage watches. White dial please on stainless....here is a descrition from the site:

The latest addition to our top-selling M1 Series responds to a growing number of requests for an "oversize" dive/watersports watch at an affordable price. While oversized watches are a strong fashion trend, we remain true to our reputation and put function first. A new dial design and huge, "exploding" date ensure unmatched legibility, while the subtly shaped case and offset crown permit the M1 DEEP 6 to offer unparalleled comfort, combined with an X-L, 47.5mm case.

    The Chronologic F3!

It's an ana-digi made from titanium. I really dig ana-digi watches, especially the ones with the digital part on the center of the dial, just like on the Speedmaster X-33. Only this one is a little bit more affordable Very cool watch!

Momentum Shadow II with Full Lume dial.

I am sucker for Full Lume dial, and with available PVD bracelet, you can go all dark everything else to accentuate the full lume dial!

I voted for the Cobalt Lite in the original thread and have to put it here again.

The lumed dial looks amazing and looks like it will glow like a torch. The watch also looks like it was made for adventure with the titanium case.
