Hmmm... this keep bugging my mind... Since TITONI does not belongs to any group... if i'm not wrong...
Can they be considered as INDEPENDENT makers?

Titoni is an older brand.. they bought out Felca years ago. They are a company or corporation. An indipendent would be more of a very small one man operation or very privately owned company I would think.

Sure they are independent if by that you mean not being owned by a large multi-brand holding company like Swatch or LVMH. They are not a small one-man operation. They have made and continue to make some really attractive watches. For those of us paying in dollars their prices have skyrocketed over the past 7 years so consequently Titoni watches are not the relative steal they once were.

That's what i thought initially, by the term and definition of INDEPENDENT, when it comes to mind applying to a company.
So... in this case, independent means a watch label backed with a team of less than 10 men?
