Am I the only one to really like Edox watches ?

I just got my first Edox watch a few days ago (Wanting it for more than a year) and I am more than please with it. It is a Edox Men's 72012 357N NIN Les Bémonts Hand Winding Watch. Looking around this forum, I've had a hard time finding much love for Edox.

Is it a specific reason for that that I don't know ?

    Next on my list:

    Edox Class-1 Wave Rider Regulator
    Nomos Tangomate
    Xetum Tyndall

Wath do you guys think about those three ??

    Thanks
    Matt

Edox make some nice watches, the build quality is on par with most of the other manufacturers (at similar price points), there is no reason to doubt this or to question your choice only because Edox is not very popular around here.
I quite like some of the Edox class 1 watches, sharp looking and sporty, I had the chance to handle a few several times at the AD in my town.

I'm not sure about the Xetum on your shortlist though, not my cup of tea and for the price it demands I think it is quite pedestrian.

Yep, you're the only one. LOL

They make some fine models but their MSRP are crazy. There are a few other swiss brands, that believe just putting "Swiss" on the dial should make it OK to charge big bucks for standard ETA. However, their "real" prices new or pre-owned are cool - do some research and you can land some sweet EDOX watches ;)

@wheelnut: judging from your avatar, I would assume you'll find nothing worth investigating ;) ;) EDOX is nowhere near Rolex, although they may try and often ask for similar prices LOL

I sometimes see Edox watches in watch magazines but they don't draw my attention.

Visit their booth at Baselworld regulary. For encased out of the rack ETA movements a bit too steep imho.
    Kind regards

I do have a couple of rollies but I also have or have had most stuff below that price range, will have a look at the Edox range, but I take your point.

I had THIS fellow (my pic) and what grabbed me was their attention to detail right down to their logo shaped screw in the front and ceramic bezel as well as textured dial. However, with none-turning bezel and 45mm size with VERY thick case made it unsuitable for my 7 1/4" wrist unfortunately.

    Chronic flipper...

First got exposed to the brand via ShopNBC. Not a whole lot of stuff to say about them, but not a lot of bad things either.
