usually the chronograph counts up to 30 minutes max, which I don't find particularly useful (worse, is the 1/10 second function). I have the victorinox Airboss which can do up to 12 hours max. but can't seem to find others can anyone recommend others?
Interesting thing about the Ronda is that the 3 o'clock dial is 1/10 second up to 30 minutes and becomes the hour counter after that. It depends if you're after a quartz or mechanical chronograph, most mechanicals with a Valjoux 7750 movement count up to 12 hours - do a search of that and you'll see lots of watches.
I was going to settle for whichever but if there are automatic ones that's even better! thanks for the tip (does this mean that valjoux 7750 has this feature as a standard?)
Here's a V7750 watch with all the standard features, but you'll find that some manufacturers will remove the day window and some will kill the hour counter.
Lots of Chronographs go to 12 hours, they tend to be 3 register Chronos vs 2 Registers...
