    Question Chronograph GMT watch?

My first time in this forum
My first journey into watch collection as well
So there's alot that I don't understand, and am reading as much as I can

If this question belong in other thread, please let me know which one!

I am trying to find my first watch
    My requirements are
    • Automatic (can be manual wind)
    • Chronograph
    • GMT/2nd time zone very nice to have
    • Swiss movement

I don't have a set budget as of right now
Initial budget is $2000 USD. Can stretch if there's a real nice one
Not that I don't want, but I think JLC/Zenith/etc are out of my league right now

    Thanks!

PS: right now, I am wearing my dad's Rolex Date Ref 1500, so I don't need a watch now, but would like to find one soon

Staying within your budget, if you purchase from some well known grey market sites, Hamilton's Khaki Aviation X-Landing GMT Chronograph. Available in mutiple flavors, leather, bracelet, PVD, etc.

    Good Luck!

Ha! as soon as I saw the title, I was going to recommend my watch (Grand Seiko Spring Drive gmt Chrono), but it isn't Swiss nor will it fit your budget (Unfortunately)..

Well, here is a pic anyways:

Can you get a used Aqua Terra GMT Chrono for $2,000?

Or cheap enough so that you can stretch your budget?

I start to wonder if I am asking for too much with my budget...

Another watch I am looking for is lemania 5100 based chronograph

They are just as expensive, if not more, for their age.

    I mean , 2k for a 20 years old watch

Like I said I am new to watches, so I might not be used to their proper valuation

    What I have now:
Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Ref 1500
    Omega Speedmaster Professional Mark 4.5
1998 Breitling Chronomat Longitude A20048 Yellow Face

    What I am looking for:
    TBD

That is legendary movement which is highly sought after and that is a reason for the high price.

I DO like that ETA modified GMT chrono by Hamilton and Hamilton is reputable company.

I must say thought GMT AND Chronograph is though to find ones coming out of reputable company for under $2k IMHO.

The 7750 movement alone isn't cheap and modified version is probably more expensive, slap on a nice case and bracelet/strap, then you have yourself rather costly watch to begin with and that is BEFORE the marketing cost.

Lemanis 5100 does NOT have GMT hand though.
    Chronic flipper...
