    Thumbs Up Luminox 3401

    Hi Guys,
I am a Luminox fan. I got my 3001 Navy Seal last year and was delighted with it. Recently I traded a few watches with another member ringding for a Luminox 3401 F-117 model. First off let me just say that I highly recommend dealing with Rich(ringding) he is a top class guy and the communication was first class.

Now to the watch. It came in great condition and the tritium glows like fire. The build quality of the watch is unreal, it's built like a tank. The sapphire crystal is really nice and the AR coating is effective. Mine came on a black Zulu which is extremely comfortable and complements the watch. I really like military type watches and like things which are functional rather than flashy. With this in mind I cannot fault this watch, it really is top class. It seems to be the perfect balance between strong build but not too big to be a nuisance. I prefer the older style Luminox watches i.e. the 3000,3400,3100 series shape. I'm not so fond of the new style case shape.

The only problem I have now is deciding which to wear, my 3001 or my 3401. Perhaps I'll wear them both haha.

    Cheers,
    Barry.

I've owned several, still have 2. The are good looking "military" styled watches and being a tritium freak they definitely satisfy that!

Some are a little overpriced for quartz watches but I guess when a watch company gains in popularity they can raise prices because people will pay it!

    Hi Guys,
Apologies for the late reply, been busy from morning to bed with work the last few days. Thanks for the replies, the pics are super guys. Good to chat to you again 2BattRanger too. One question, my camera is no good at macro close ups. Do any of ye know of a good camera that wont break the bank to take pictures of watches. Sorry I still don't have pics but the camera simply wont focus.
    Cheers,
    Barry.
