    Help identifying this Baume & Mercier

    a friend of mine got this in a divorce settlement and we were wondering if anyone knows what model it is. we believe it was bought new in the mid 90s, but we are not sure.

    A lot of the members have an astonishing amount of watch knowledge stored in their heads (I'm not one of them) but it would definitely help if you took a picture with a higher quality camera.

    I think their 'Hampton' line is rectangular in case shape. But you'll need to take another picture.

    That one doesn't help much.

    Pretty much. I just didn't want to be the first to say it, out of courtesy. To put it into perspective, the following picture features a clearer watch-shot and it was taken in 1918.

    B&M has made rectanglular watches in the Hampton line for a long time. I suspect this may be a Hampton model and may use a quartz movement. For more information about the model including it's gold content your friend should take it to a B&M dealer or call the company.
