How to Replace Casio 248 Marlin Watch Battery
This is a watch I've had since the mid-80's and I'd like to change the battery myself. I tried taking a small screwdriver to what looks like an "access point" to the back plate but all I think I did was shift the display layout (see pic). I kind of gave it a good pounding. My bad.
Yesterday I ordered an inexpensive watch repair kit (pictured below).
Does anyone have any suggestions before I try one of the tools from the kit I bought?
*Edit: I opted to have a service shop do it for $15. Next I'll need to correct the layout because of the shifted display.
