    OK so automatics are mechanical watches meaning they need to be wound? Sorry, I'm a NooB. How are autos different from kinetics? I thought autos wind themselves when you move your arm? Info is appreciated , thanks

    Right, autos wind up themselves by a rotor on ball bearing when you move your arm. Nevertheless the way an auto does is pure mechanical.
