    Jaeger lecoultre Grande Reverso Duo

Hi guys, i'm looking to add another timepiece to my humble collection. I'm deciding on the rolex datejust 116234 or the JLC grande reverso duo. Eventually i will buy both however i am deciding which to buy first.

Are there any JLC grande reverso duo owners here? i haven't get to see one in person yet, how does it compare to the standard reverso duo? Any opinions? Here are some photos that i have taken over the internet.

It's not even close in my mind. The JLC is head and shoulders above the Rolex, at least in my opinion. While the Rollie may be a bit more versatile, the Reverso is iconic, to use a term thrown around so often. The Reverso exudes class and sophistication that is a level all its own, but the Rolex is known the whole world over and even non-wis recognize it readily. I wish I were in your position! The Reverso is on my short grail list.

Thanks for the feedback mate. You mean the standard reverso duo or the grande reverso duo?

If I were in your shoes, JLC all the way. The rollie is IMHO kind of pedestrian for the cash you're shelling out. The JLC is something you'll likely never see another of, which is cool no matter how you cut it.

Buy the Reverso it's such a classic. I tried the Grande 976 on and love it. I will own it someday.

No contest, JLC, but the JLC will sit very high on your wrist.

I tried the Reverso on the other weekend and I almost peed my pants

Not a lot of watches cause me this kind of excitement (or incontinence).

    JLC Reverso FTW!!!

That Grand Duo is so much sweeter than the standard. But I love them all.

I'd rather the Reverso. It's like having 2 watches.

Your gonna get alot more for you cash with JLC than you are with that Rolex, nothing against it!, but the JLC(s) certainly stand out alot more..
