JS Watch co. Reykjavik is now introducing the latest addition to the Frisland collection, a watch asked for by our collectors in search of unique mid sized watch in a Classic design.

JS Watch co. Reykjavik is one of the world's smallest watch manufacturers, yet our constant effort to meet our collectors and watch enthusiasts needs has virtually no limits. We endeavor to meet the requests for new models from our clients and fans to the best of our abilities.

The Frisland Classic watch has an Antique silver dial with Roman / Arabic numerals and comes in a 42 mm steel case with a Curved Anti Reflective Sapphire Crystal and See-through Sapphire Crystal back. The Lancette style hands are traditional Flame Blued to match the blue color on the Arabic numerals at XII, III, VI and IX. The 42 mm case is made from the finest German surgical grade Stainless Steel "316L" which is the same utilized for medical implants. The movement is the exceptionally well renowned Swiss Made Soprod A10-2 "Execution Top" and the watch has a Handmade Genuine Ostrich leg strap.

All parts created for our watch collections are crafted in Germany and Switzerland while adhering to our own original designs by nine esteemed companies that have been specializing in creating either cases, movements, dials, hands, or straps etc. for some of the world's leading watch brands for many decades, while also enjoying a reputation for the highest quality production from only the best materials available. We then hand assemble every single watch in our collection with a profound respect for traditional watchmaking in our workshop in Reykjavik, Iceland. There the watchmaker's hand and a highly trained eye are the most vital tools used.

    Now that one has class.

My only gripe, after going to their website, there was a picture of it UPSIDE DOWN.

I actually do find it attractive, though it's not my style.

Not sure how a 42mm dress watch can be considered mid-sized, but regardless, that's very nice.

They make such classy, beautiful watches. Why can't they be 36-38mm? 42 is way outside my comfort zone for a dressy watch.
