LeJour watches: Any sources to educate myself on the brand?

I just ran across a sorta-vintage LeJour chronograph with the most beautiful paper-white dial I've ever seen. It grabbed my eye from across the room. The owner is interested in selling, but I want to learn more about the brand first.

Can anyone here point me in the right direction?

Do a search, it looks like another came and went brand.

. . . did that before posting here. Of course.

There's a paucity of info when searching here and on Google. It looks like some cheap Hong Kong manufacturer may have recently bought the name and started cranking out quartz junk. The older '60s to '80s stuff looks like it might be collection worthy, but I thought I'd first tap into the collective WUS knowledge base.

Some of their earlier models (60's & 70's) with valjoux 7750 movements are actually quite collectable. You can sometimes see them going on eBay for some rather steep prices. I believe they were being made by Heuer then. Go to "Lejour chronograph" in Google & you'll come up with lots of info

I have reached that conclusion too... some of the vintage stuff, especially the chronographs, are exceptional values. As another poster mentioned, Heuer made some of them. But there is nothing of interest in their current offerings.
