Looking for a fine dress watch

So, those who know my tastes know I like stuff that's different, offbeat, artsy. Some call my tastes candidates for an ugly watch contest. Dress watches are tough to find in an artsy flavor. I would like to have a dress watch but I know myself and know that I probably would not wear anything that is ordinary looking. It has to be fun. Nonetheless, I was thinking of trying to find an interesting dress watch. I sort of like this, though it may be near impossible to find:

Or this one, but it looks kind of ordinary and I'm afraid I won't wear it:

And then I saw this. I like that its 43mm and there is contrast with the black hands / white face for an easier read:

This sort of knocks my socks off. It is pricey though. Is anyone familiar with the brand? Does anyone know of any other artsy, different looking watches in the dress category?

This also looks nice, but I'm afraid I'd have trouble reading the dial, and its only 39mm.

Artsy to my mind is Mondaine, M & Company, Alain Silberstein, Franck Muller, PITA, to name a few.

The Jaquet Droz models are beautiful and I love the look - have considered one many times but always have to pass because of the size. I hope they will be able to bring a smaller, 37 - 40 mm model to market sometime before I die......

Budget has a lot to do with "artsy", Jaquet Droz -

The Montana Watch Co. - Model 1925 would be worth checking out.

Watchbreath has mention Quinting a few times. The models show about 55 seconds in are a bit more traditional:

Yep, handling one for the first time was an experience, only seen one on a wrist. Left of Corum
    when it comes to mainstream.

Have you looked at the Lange Saxonia thin? It's 40mm, and rather beautiful in person.
