The man who buys a particular watch to feel smarter or better than other people and the man who avoids a particular watch to feel smarter or better than other people are brothers.

I think you're on track with the Speedmaster, but I don't care for the gold. You could go for the "moon watch" and come in under budget, most likely.

What, no counter suggestion for the OP? How about the generic Speedmaster moon watch or PO?

Wow, some definitely different choices here.

Gold sports watches make no sense to me; the unblinking eyeballs at the bottom of the Braun dial are unnerving at the RJ looks like a rusted piece of junk someone dug up from their back yard.

The Montblanc is a gorgeous piece with an interesting movement and unique dial display. It's a non-starter at anywhere near its retail price, but would make a cool pickup at the right number. It's an easy choice for me from amongst this crowd.

The Montblanc, looks nice, different, but not to weird like the Martin Braun. (Without the 'eyes' at the bottom I would have gone for the Martin Braun)
... Time line?! This is no time to argue about time! We don't have the time.

Uzbeky? Bhutanese? Cayman? or Canadian?"
Haha Stop staring at me Braun! (swan)
