    Parmigiani

I've been having a little sift through this site and couldn't find a huge amount out about this brand so wandered if anyone else owns/has owned one. I'm considering getting one as I've been told they're made completely by themselves as opposed to using bought in parts and are supposed to be the best of the best. Just came accross this too Parmigiani Bugatti Type 370 Watch White Gold PF008221-01 - PF008221-01

Unbelievable watch but also unbelievably expensive!! Sadly the one I'm looking at is only a tiny fraction of this price but still looks very pretty!

    Your thoughts please!

Parmigiani makes very nice watches. Today all their parts are in house except the straps which are made by Hermes. I went to an event a few years ago and met the President of Parmigiani.

I own an older model which has an El Primero movement...

To be fair, and back on-topic: Really some stunning designs. Thanks for showing them.

Thanks guys. I'm going to ponder over it for a couple of days but I think I've already decided it's a green light! Better just have a sleep first to make sure!

Parmigiani is an excellent brand. My guess is they're not that popular due to their lack of advertising. My dad has owned two and has loved them both. Here are a couple pics of the one he currently owns

Exorbitantly expensive and I'm not exactly sure why.

    Re: Parmigiani

I never met one in person, but I was close to pulling the trigger on a Pershing chronograph. From numerous folks I talked to about the brand, it is as finely finshed as anything out there, and their in house movements are top tier. $13,000 for a steel chronograph that is said to stand tall against the $22,000 AP ROO and $18,000 VC Overseas. I guess the discount is for their lack of history, I believe the company's first watches were produced in 1996. The company was founded in 1976 and specialized in restoring high end watches.
