Pulsar 2001 solar watch capacitor?

I found an old watch I used to wear in the 80's. It is a Pulsar 2001 solar watch. It keeps good time as long as the sun is on the watch but the capacitor is bad. Anyone know where to get a replacement. I no longer have the owners manual to know what voltage or size it takes.

Perhaps consider removing the capacitor. There should be some markings on it. Run a Google search and I'm sure you will find a replacement.

If it were only that easy. I took the back off and found no capacitor in it. I vaguely remember when I lived in Philadelphia in the 1990's I took it to a guy who said it couldn't be fixed and gave it back to me. he must have removed it and never replaced it.

If it's a v103a or 104 caliber you may be out of luck for the actual capacitor. It can still likely be repaired but the capicitor will have to be substituted/adapted. These guys might be able to do it: http://www.time-repairs.com/watchrepair/w4-3.htm

Here is a pic of the watch. It is neat but if I can't find a capacitor it is no big deal. It would be cool to get it running though.
