That's 3 grand slams in a row with his Richard Mille on. One of only 7 men to complete the career grand slam! First man since Rod Laver in 1969 to win 3 grand slams in a row in the same calendar year.
IT HAS TO BE THE WATCH!![]()

He truly defines the sport at the moment. Despite Djokovic's outstanding play Rafa would not be denied. What a tournament.
I know nothing except the fact of my own ignorance. Socrates
Federer is still easily the best in the world...
Nice guy, but looks like those crabs that have one huge claw... i think it's the fiddler crab
Work the right arm rafa....
I'd love to see a resurgance in US mens players of substance. It seems Roddick is on the way down, Blake is out...
At least the junior finals consisted of two Americans.
I'd love to see less Tennis courts with missing nets, and weeds growing out of them, and more with kids playing on them.....
Seiko / Orient / Hamilton
Speaking as somebody who knows a LOT about tennis, with two close friends currently on the tour... Trust me. It's not even close. Federer's skill level is just a whole other league. He loses sometimes, sure. Why? To understand that, you're honestly better off comparing him to a moody artist than a pro struggling with his game. Only Federer beats Federer... That's common knowledge on the tour.
Don't think I'll be investing in one of those watches to improve my tennis just yet![]()
Rafa is the dominant force at the moment as he just seems able to produce when it matters!!
Federer is widely thought to be the better tennis player in terms of outright skill, footwork etc etc, as when he gets it right, it's just silly, but he isn't quite putting it together when it really matters at the mo, but that may change when the influence of his new coach starts to sink in?!!
I really enjoyed watching Rafa play in the final, but if I had a chance to watch either, it'd be Fed all the way![]()
On clay Nadal kills Federer 9/10 times, to be exact 10/12 times.
As big a Federer fan as I am, one cannot deny that Nadal has been the hottest tennis player in the last couple years....his #1 ranking speaks for itself. Career-wise Federer takes it, but to be fair.....Nadal is 5 years younger.
I always route for Federer because of his style of play, but Nadal has his number.
