I wear chronos too often to have two of them out of rotation.
I'm sure you've seen the comparisons before:

I agree the blue looks nice, but wonder whether it will really be any brighter or last any longer than what's already on the watch.

    Re: The relume watch thread

It's quite thickly applied. And it's nicely between C1 and C3 (is the Chase-Durer C5?), and a good compromise because I really don't like the greenish color of the lume when in normal light compared to the clean, white appearance of C1 and BGW9.

A man's watch is a very cherished thing. You steal that, you might as well be stealing his soul.

Yeah. The whole watch is being redone. Even more so than yours.

To match the theme, I had the lume repainted in the vintage style (so it's the first pic that's the special one). I'm super excited for it to be done (hopefully) soon.

Great work on your watches. I want to tackle luming my Alpha 24 hour watch (with sandwich dial... idiot proof?). What product(s) do you use and any tricks for a newbie?

    Thanks
Sandwich dial? Just take out the movement, hands and dial. The dial is in 2 pieces, open up. One is the front one which , another is the base. Just get the superluminova lume and whacked on the base. Check is it properly spread, wait for it dry and then stick the 2 pieces back. You will have a perfect relume. You basically dont need any skill for reluming a sandwich dial. All you need is how to assemble the dial, hand on the movt will do.

other than sandwich dial, others relume will need a steady hand.
